Research Associate. Master of Science in Engineering Physics at Lund University, graduated in 2010. Received a PhD in medical physics at Lund University in 2016 with the thesis title Pressure distribution in mammography: Mechanical imaging and implications for breast compression. Conducts research in varied fields, with a specific focus on the unique topic of breast mechanical imaging, both for diagnostic purposes and to optimize breast compression from the twin perspectives of comfort and quality. I also investigate the use of artificial intelligence in screening and design realistic computer simulations of breast tissue. I am currently supervising three PhD students (Anna Bjerkén, Victor Dahlblom and Gustav Hellgren) and two master students (Cornelia Rejmer and Martina Voigt).
