Ann-Sofi Sjöqvist
Doctoral student

I am a radiographer and since 2019 I have been a part-time doctoral student. My main clinical field in radiography is magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
The PhD project focus on women with a hereditary risk of breast cancer in surveillance with MRI and exploring their perceptions and lived experiences through in-depth interviews. Also to investigate psychosocial distress, anxiety and health related quality of life through a longitudinal multicentre observational study.
The research team to whom I belong is also investigating adherence to surveillance versus which women who opt for risk-reducing mastectomy, a project in collaboration with another research team (SHE-BREMS).
